It’s amazing, isn’t it? There are hundreds of super-slick, fast-paced games out there which are just dripping with hi-tech graphics and serious gameplay…. but I will still go back to playing ‘Spider Solitaire’ a lot of the time.
I’m not sure why it is, but there is something really relaxing about playing solitaire on the PC. Maybe it’s because you don’t have to keep dealing out the cards for yourself! Personally, I can lose myself in it for hours on end; even if it doesn’t have state of the art graphics or finger-on-the-pulse action sequences.
Card games are incredibly addictive and I would guess there are loads of people out there with a secret solitaire habit. But let’s face it; if you are a teenager and you have a love for ‘Spider Solitaire’, then you are not going to go around telling your mates about it. It may be a great game, but it is not big on street cred…
However, if you do have a liking for playing with yourself (at cards), then here is a great website that I found. On here there are many different types of solitaire to try out and several variations of old favourites. If you thought that ‘Spider Solitaire’ was as good as it got then think again!
Oh, and one last thing; if you are the sort of person who enjoys playing with yourself (at cards), then you should never be ashamed of your habit. And that business of it making you go blind is just an old wives tale…
So I have finally been paid for that last videogame review job that I did, you all know what that implies, it’s about time to hit the mall and pick up that new set of running watches that I have been waiting to get(what? Nerds can be fit). Steve, are you up for a little bit of techie inducted shopping this weekend?
